Astro Boy 40th Anniversary Ultimate Fan Guide-DMD Sep 2003

Astroboy Episode Guide-The Right Stuf Jan 92
The book is very vague about the storylines of each episode, like it doesn't want to give away any of the surprises in that episode, therefore making it very hard to determine exactly what happened in that episode.

The Astroboy TV episodes are available with 2 episodes per videotape (50 min.) and 4 episodes per laserdisc (100 min.). All the episodes are dubbed and distributed by The Right Stuf. There were a lot more TV episodes shown in Japan than were shown in the U.S. Increasing violence had the show taken off U.S. TV. I know nothing about the Japanese manga. Additional color dubbed Astroboy episodes are available from Manga Ent. These are the same episodes seen on Canadian TV and released on videotape in Austrialia. The lastest Astroboy TV series was brought to the U.S. by Sony and is currently being aired on the KidsWB. The Astro Boy Cine-Manga from TokyoPop uses images from this series. The Astroboy TV series was known as Tetsuwan Atomu in Japan.
