I am not familiar with the English comic, so I don't know how if
this comic is related to the Japanese manga and animation of the same
name. There is a dubbed Locke the Superman videotape available
from FHE and Best. There are at least 2 Locke! episodes, the first is 55
min and the second is 50 min. (Are these related?)
There is a Japanese manga entitled Kozure Okami, but I don't believe there
an animation. The exact issue that the American version (released by First) ended
at is difficult to determine, but 45 issues are definately available. There are
a number of live action Japanese movies based on the manga and they are commonly
referred to as the Sword of Vengeance series. One movie, Lupin Wolf: Lone Wolf
with Cub is subtitled and 89 min, another is Shogun Assassin. There are 28
volumes to the Japanese manga and the English version ended before the story
complete. AnimEigo has been releasing high quality subtitled
versions of the Lone Wolf and Cub movie series on videotape and laserdisc.

closely follows the TV series. A few of the pages in the Japanese
version are in color, which were not reproduced in color by Viz.
